Why does this device need to be verified?

MyChronicle protects private memories with a verification cookie stored on this device. If the cookie is missing or no longer valid, the app cannot safely tell who the device belongs to. This may happen on a first visit, after a browser or app update, after cookies or app data were cleared, in private browsing, or after changing phones. Your account and stored memories have not been deleted. Simply register this device again and have the administrator link it to your existing user.

If you have used MyChronicle on this device before, do not create a new account. Just verify this device again.

Show the displayed code to the administrator, who will link this device to your existing account.

Android decides whether the icon is placed directly on the Home screen after installation. If MyChronicle is not there, open the list of all apps (usually swipe up from the bottom), find MyChronicle, press and hold its icon, then choose Add to Home screen or drag it onto the Home screen.
